Blackburn resident Stephanie Waters worked in corporate communications before launching online label Ballettonet in 2013. The label offers an affordable range of quality Italian-made shoes.

“My husband and I always wanted to start an online retailer,” Stephanie says. “During a trip to Italy, we discovered beautifully made leather ballet flats and began wondering why Australians were paying so much more for handcrafted shoes than people in Europe. That’s how it started.”

For some exercise?

I bring my two kids and dog to Morton Park in Blackburn, near the lake. It’s a dog-friendly park and my kids play on the playground.

For some seriously pampering?

Endota Spa. It’s like a city spa but in the ’burbs and they give good facials and massages.

Allowing yourself some regular 'me time' is exactly what our Therapists suggest. Regular massages nourishes and repairs the body instantly through lymphatic drainage, clearing toxins from your body. Externally, massage assists with dryness and improves skin texture. #endotaspa #wellnessweek #GWD2016 #globalwellnessday #endotaspa #metime #mybestme #wellness #wellbeing @globalwellnessday

For time out with the family?

We drive out to the Yarra Valley. We stop by Meletos – they have wide open spaces so we fly a kite – as well as the chocolate factory near Healesville.
