We Aussies love dining out to the tune of $45 billion per year at an average of two to three times per week.
The Liven app, recently launched in Melbourne and Sydney, plans to make paying your next restaurant bill as simple as paying for the Uber you took to get there.
Request the bill on your phone then swipe to pay and you’re rewarded with cash credit that can either go to towards your next feed or donate your credit to charity.
Liven users are reportedly earning an average of $20 per meal, with regulars already earning as much as $1,500 credit on their Liven accounts.
That’s a hefty chunk towards your next meal or towards your favourite charity like RSPCA, National Breast Cancer Foundation, beyondblue, Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital Foundation and more.
17 top restaurants you can find on Liven:
- Caffe E Cucina
- Kobe Jones
- Mister Bianco
- Papa Goose
- Wa Modern
“Australians love a great meal out with their family and friends. So why not get more value from these experiences? Liven combines the best of both worlds – being rewarded for doing things you already love and a new way to contribute to life-changing charity work,” says Liven co-founder, Grace Wong.
“Apps already exist for delivery. We wanted to revolutionise the way you dine out, from discovery through to rewards and cashless payment.”
The restaurant loyalty and rewards app is now available in Sydney and Melbourne, with more than 500 restaurants on board including Chur Burger, Subsolo and Busshari in Sydney and Massi, Laksa Bar and Caffe e Cucina in Melbourne.
