If drinking cocktails on a tropical island is your thing, we may have found Melbourne’s next best thing.

Arbory Afloat, Melbourne’s new floating bar, has opened on the Yarra River for a limited time.

Floating aside Arbory Bar and Eatery on Flinders Walk, the bar is perfect for afternoons basking in the sun or kicking on after the Spring Racing Carnival.

Decked out in nautical fashion, with laidback tunes and delicious cocktails, Arbory Afloat offers a taste of paradise.

If cocktails aren’t your style, beer, wine and French champagne should complement the fresh premium seafood and charcoal-roasted skewers available on Nick Bennett’s menu.

With views of the iconic Melbourne skyline above and chilled-out vibes, Arbory Afloat is the city’s latest oasis.

The venue is open from 11 am daily until Sunday, November 8.

Blood Orange Americano

Tanqueray Gin, Campari, topped with Schweppes Agrum and garnished with a slice of blood orange

House-made strawberry shrub mix, Pampero Blanco Rum, topped with soda and garnished with mixed berries

White Grapefruit Paloma

Tromba Tequila, lime juice, white grapefruit juice, with a splash of soda and a slice of pink grapefruit

Nautical Rose

Lillet Rose, topped with a dash of Lemonade over ice and garnished with fresh orange
