Every year there’s talk of heading to Launceston to watch a Hawthorn game and I’ve always resisted the temptation, but as soon as next year’s AFL fixture is released it will be me making the booking. The reason for my change of heart? The Tamar Valley Wine Route: 35 cellar doors along a 200-kilometre circuit. I might not make it to the Hawks match.
