I love the outfit worn by Elie B - the gilded python dress by Thurley with Serena Lindeman pill box hat. The entire outfit is so well co-ordinated. It is classic, elegant & stylish & looks comfortable & suitable for any weather. It is very reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn's style & class & I also love that it would suit the more mature ladies as many race day outfits are tailored more towards younger women.

I LOVE the second look "Hot Quaddie" because the models look Stunning and their are some really beautiful clothing items. My fav is eily B's dress and hat . They really compliment each other and she looks fab.

I love Jake's look in the Hot Quaddie photo; Ralph Lauren Bradford blazer and pant, CM Estate shirt and Repp club striped tie. It's striking, bold, would go with most of the outfits that the ladies wear, yet still quitessentially dapper that oozes gentlemanly style.

My grandfather used to work with horses in Cape Town and he always used to say "When the ladies wear gold luck never runs cold" and so I have to say...I adore the gold python dress by Thurley with the gold leather hat by Serena Lindeman! It's tough to get metallics to work well during daytime but the styling here show how to get it right (and still be oh so classy!)

Dhav my fav women's outfit is Elly in the Thurley python dress with the Serena Lindeman gold leather pillbox hat. To accompany the subdued but slightly cheeky Elly to the marquee would be Sergej in his resplendent red Calibre LA blazer and pant, shirt and blue accessories, the pocket square and Ralph Lauren crochet tie.

It is hard to beat a sculptural Philip Treacy hat with the hidden design features making it remain firmly attached to your head even if windy. Also, I have a soft spot for the beautiful bags by Anya Hindmarch.

I like Elly in the gold pythondress and tipped hat. It is stylish and retro and not too much skin on show and reminds me of the fashions on the field and Sonia NcMahon on the field. The gentleman looks terrific in his young preppy look which is very age appropriate instead of a more formal ,older suit.

Terrific Trifecta - this look is hot, the Ermenegildo Zegna suit worn by Sergej has a great classic and timeless look that can easily be accessorised. Hot quaddie represents what fashion at the Spring racing carnival should be all about. It's a time where conservative outfits should be left at home and you can really express yourself with colour and flair. Jake's outfit is modern yet classic with a perfect colour combination, Eily B looks like she is about to step onto a glamorous movie yet, Siobhan's outfit would turn heads and I love that Sergej is wearing colour! This foursome would be attracting as much attention as the horses.

Although I tend to be more of an Odds On dresser myself (on my most inspired days), and they are ALL styled to perfection, Siobhan in Alex Perry Bonita dress, Anya Hindmarch Valorie clutch, Philip Treacy natural and gold spiral headband and Tony Bianco Klass heels, is EXQUISITE! The stand out for me is the Alex Perry Bonita dress. The overlay effect of the flowers/petals is stunning. The elegant clutch balances beautifully with the Tony Bianco Klass heels with gorgeous detail on the back and skyscraper heels. The Philip Treacy headband adds a light and breezy look to a classic Race Day outfit. Standout for me.

My favourite look is the Thurley Palermo dress and Carnival jacket. It's 60's inspired with a splash on the metallic trend. I would love to wear this look to any spring carnival. Definitely on-trend, always a good look when you don't look like you are going to a nightclub. She looks stunning.

The hot quaddie is my preferred. In particular the couple as their outfits actually go together and there is no clash of cultures and colour. In terrific trifecta it looks a bit like a collection that could have been from the op shop (even if it is the Red Cross in Hampton)!

How STUNNING is Siobhan in that Alex Perry Bonita dress?!! It is simply elegant, speaks volumes to me of Spring and racing and SO flattering. The sheer hemline is a masterpiece without the very common and 'obvious' vulgarity of many see-thru outfits we see today. The accessories are a perfect foil for this amazing dress. Absolutely CLASSY! :)

I think that the "Stylish quinella' with its Blazer and casual pants is more suited to the older man who enjoy the racing carnival. The dress is also appropriate for his more mature partner

I really like the drees on the girl (Bianca Spender Coquillage turquoise dress), the color really stands out and works well with Shourouk necklace and Serena Lindeman silk flower headpiece. But I have an unforgivable tendancy to very bright colors this season. For men: Hugo Boss Black jacket (part of suit) looks very elegant and noble; his Ralph Lauren crochet tie stands out too. My favourite is Siobhan's outfit (Alex Perry Bonita dress) from Terrific Trifecta. The colour is perfect for spring and the dress looks flirty, friendly and elegant. Together with the headband and the heels the outfit has a timeless look.
