Bayside’s grooviest new boutique, Lover Byrd, held a spectacular launch party on Wednesday, March 23. Hosted by Kasia Z, the event attracted models and fashionistas, who were all impressed by the jewellery cabinet, the new shoe range by Nicole Richie and Fluxus fashion pieces, a favourite among the Hollywood crowd.

Suite Synergy by Mod Dance Company

Celebrating its world premiere at the Arts Centre, Mod Dance Company’s performance of Suite Synergy opened on March 23. Featuring 18 dancers and four drummers, Suite Synergy is a collaboration between choreographer Graeme Murphy and composer/percussionist Michael Askill.

Paul Fenton-Smith Intuition book launch

On Friday, March 18, artist-entrepreneur Cristina Re hosted the launch of Paul Fenton-Smith’s new book Intuition at her Collingwood shop Where a Girl Goes. While guests ate gourmet sandwiches, macaroons and cupcakes, Fenton-Smith, with the help of volunteers, gave a demonstration of his psychic skills.
