The Weekly Review

Oh, ageing is hard, isn’t it? It’s always a bit of a shock when you see an old person looking back at you from the mirror when you still feel 27.

Silly, sticky-beak, presumptuous, annoying me.

This week I did the unmentionable, the unthinkable and the unprecedented. I unfriended someone.

The other adult in this house was telling me he ran into an old friend from school the other day and while they were chatting, he kept thinking how old his mate was. And then he remembered he was the same age.

The fallout has been huge. The confusion unbridled. The pain unmentionable.
